“Coffee with…”
– Aneta Kociołek, Head of Office & Quality Management, getsix Wrocław
We would like to have inspiring discussions with getsix Group staff over a nice cup of coffee (or tea).
In this interview we would like to get to know Aneta a little better and find out what a working day of our Head of Office & Quality Management in the getsix® Wrocław office looks like.
Coffee or tea? When and how?
If it’s morning, then definitely coffee with right proportion of milk. This is a good start to my day. I recently heard that there are people who will not start doing anything until they have had a cup of coffee. This is not the case for me, but I always start my day with coffee.
What does the current „Quality Management” world look like?
By definition, a Quality Management System improves a company’s overall profitability, strengthens its market position and increases customer confidence. It brings long-term benefits to the company and its customers by raising the company’s prestige in the market, ensuring systematic management of resources, knowledge and customer service, launching a process of continuous improvement of operations, ensuring an efficient flow of information about tasks and their implementation. In order to meet the requirements of our customers, getsix Group has set goals in a Quality Policy, which is available on our website and displayed in a visible place in each of our locations – as a reminder, as it is usually one of the first questions during our external audits conducted by a certification body. Our most important objectives are to provide professional services and to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and applicable regulations. In order to achieve these goals, we have set appropriate measures. Based on the framework of this policy, getsix® Partners set specific quality targets every year, the achievement of which they evaluate in the following year.
Last year, for the first time, the audit was conducted 100% remotely. All requirements were assessed as fulfilled and no non-conformities were found. The certificate has been maintained. The next audit will take place in June. Today’s Quality Management in getsix Group also includes our internal auditors: Elżbieta Naron, Marta Radoszko-Adamczak, Edyta Michalik and myself. All of us have been trained and have already conducted internal audits under the supervision of our ISO Consultant, Ms Kamila Pawliszyn-Zielska. But above all, Quality Management in getsix Group is the awareness of our employees. We all know that our processes required by the quality management system are established, implemented, maintained and continuously improved.
In your opinion, what will be the key changes resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic?
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a health and economic crisis. Business closures, prolonged isolation and social distance, finances, social life and relationships, mental health… We are dealing with consequences of this difficult experience and will probably have to deal with them the for some time to come. At the same time, Covid-19 has shown us that many processes in professional as well as private life can be carried out remotely. From the perspective of a getsix Group employee it is so that we have the opportunity to do our work remotely with no harm to continuous operation of the department. All internal audits outside of Wroclaw and external audits for ISO 9001 and 27001 were also carried out remotely. In addition, an internal website for communication within getsix Group was launched. We will definitely benefit from these improvements in the years to come.
You have been working at getsix® since the very first day. What makes you proud to work for this company?
At getsix® I have the opportunity to develop myself continuously as there are still new challenges and training courses offered. You do not get the feeling that you have stopped somewhere. For me getsix® means international standards, fulfilled visions and goals, clear internal processes and the latest technical solutions, and above all working with German and ISO with responsibility and authority to ensure that the processes required in a quality management system are established, implemented and maintained on an ongoing basis.
If you could be someone else for the day, who would it be? And why?
If given the opportunity, I would like to be a psychologist, who sees more and farther than others see. I have always been passionate about the mechanisms that govern the human psyche, and I always look for a deeper message in literature and art. Shifting the horizon even further would be a gift to me.
